Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
CastNet HQ ("CastNet," "we," "us") provides AI call answering, design and social media services to businesses in Illinois. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website and the services we provide to our business clients.
Information we collect
- When you contact us. If you email us or ask for a call, we receive your name, email address, phone number, business name and whatever you choose to tell us.
- From our business clients. To set up a client's AI receptionist, we collect business information such as services, hours, prices, service area and contact preferences.
- From people who call our clients. When someone calls a business that uses CastNet Front Desk, we process the call on that business's behalf. This can include the caller's phone number, the call recording, a transcript, and the details the caller shares (for example, name, callback number and what they need).
No trackers or analytics
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or any other tracking tools. Our fonts are served from our own site. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and reliability.
How we use information
- To answer calls for our clients and send them the caller's details.
- To set up, test, maintain and improve each client's service.
- To respond to inquiries, provide support and send invoices and receipts.
- To meet legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse.
Call recording and AI disclosure
Illinois law requires the consent of all parties to record a phone call. Every call answered by CastNet Front Desk begins with a notice that the caller is speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. Callers who do not wish to be recorded may end the call and contact the business another way. We do not use call audio to identify callers by their voice.
Text messages
We only send text messages to people who have agreed to receive them. You can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Message and data rates may apply. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only:
- With the business you called, since we answer on its behalf.
- With service providers that help us run the service, such as telephone, AI voice, email, hosting and payment providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of CastNet, our clients or others.
- As part of a business transfer, such as a merger or sale, subject to this policy.
Retention and deletion
We keep call recordings for 90 days, then delete them. Transcripts and call details are kept only as long as needed to provide the service to the client. Business records such as invoices are kept as required by law. If you ask us to delete information, we delete it on request, as our providers allow, within 30 days.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information about you by emailing hello@castnethq.com. If you called one of our clients, we may need to coordinate your request with that business.
Children
Our services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let our clients know.
